It was a bleak arctic evening for our depleted field of just 17 riders, in contrast to the same event a year ago when 45 riders enjoyed warm, sunny conditions. Apart from the conditions many riders had to withdraw because of rapidly spreading Covid, still rearing its ugly head. It proved to be a win for Brendan Hirst from Jack Stewardson by 15 seconds. Becky Wheaver braved the elements to resurrect our catering service and we welcomed 3 new members who were assured that conditions can only get better!
